Today, we’re introducing Chantál, our Financial
Manager. While she keeps a close eye on the
numbers (and sometimes our marketing
budget 👀), she’s also a big fan of good wine
and great company.
We asked her a few quickfire questions, and
here’s what she had to say:
🍷 What’s your favourite Stellenbosch Hills wine? “Sense of Place: Anna Christina”
🧀 Sweet or savoury snacks with wine? “Savoury.”
☀️ Your go-to wine for a summer BBQ? “I only drink Stellenbosch Hills, so it would be the
Polkadraai Rosé.”
📊 Fun fact about working in finance for a winery? “There’s never a dull moment. The wine
industry makes finance lekka.”
💖 Which one of our wines will you recommend for a romantic dinner? “When my husband
takes me out for a romantic dinner, we would usually start with an MCC, so definitely the Anna
Christina. For the main course, the 1707 Red Reserve is perfect to complement red meat. And for
dessert, a small glass of Stellenbosch Hills Muscat De Hambourg pairs beautifully with a chocolate
brownie and ice cream.”
