Polkadraai Mixed Case:
2x Chenin Blanc/Sauvignon Blanc
2x Pinotage/Merlot
2 x Polkadraai Rosé 2025
White: Chenin Blanc / Sauvignon Blanc Blend
The nose is immediately inviting with aromas of green apple, guava and passion fruit and subtle hints of ripe pear. On the palate, this wine is bright and energetic with the stone fruit richness of the Chenin Blanc and the zesty citrus of the Sauvignon Blanc. The lees aging brings a round mouthfeel and adds finesse to this wine. Best enjoyed chilled on its own or paired with sushi, Al fresco lunches and grilled chicken or fresh green salads with citrus
vinaigrette.
Red: Pinotage / Merlot Blend
This wine displays vibrant aromas of red cherry, ripe plum, and raspberries, layered with subtle undertones of vanilla, chocolate and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is lush and fruit-forward, with silky texture and velvety soft tannins that make it both approachable and refined. The oak aging contributes depth and complexity without overshadowing the fruitiness of the wine. Enjoy now or within the next three years to appreciate its youthful vibrancy and balanced elegance. Ideally paired with barbecue meats, roasted duck, or mushroom risotto. Also, a great companion to aged cheeses or charcaterie.
Rosé: 100% Shiraz (Polkadraai Rosé 2025)
A beautifully transparent salmon-pink rosé made from handpicked Shiraz grapes grown in the Polkadraai Hills. Expect a fresh, playful bouquet of ripe strawberries and cherries with a hint of candy floss. Crisp acidity balances the fruitiness perfectly, delivering a light, flavourful, and elegant finish. Ideal for warm days and relaxed moments.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
White: Fresh oysters, grilled fish, or a Caprese salad
Red: Roast beef, lamb, or a hearty beef stew
Rosé: Creamy pasta with salmon or prawns
